Inkomoko works with Rwanda’s most promising businesses to develop powerful new strategies that accelerate their growth.

Inkomoko is a partner to small and medium enterprises that seek to expand their sales and profits while also creating new jobs. Our team of experts has the skills to identify your challenges and provide solutions to fix them.

Since launching in 2012, we have worked with more than 300 entrepreneurs across all five provinces and 21 districts.


Olive graduated from the National University of Rwandain 2012 with a BSc in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness and she is a defending candidate from the University of Nairobi in the Masters of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics. Olive is a member of the African Association of Agricultural Economics, an association of Agricultural economists and other professionals with special interest in agricultural economics issues and affairs. Previously, Olive worked with Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture/Kilimo Salama project in Rwanda as a Research Assistant. Olive has done a variety of research assistance with; International Development Research Center, Development Research Network, National University of Rwanda and she is among the founders of ROAP (Rwanda Organization for Agribusiness Promotion).

Olive Ashimwe
 Client Relationship Manager

Deo joined Inkomoko in August 2015 and is responsible for all organizational finances. Deo graduated from the University of Rwanda, School of Finance and Banking with a Degree in Business Administration. He has worked in accounting and finance roles at a variety of organizations, including Urwego Opportunity Bank, Songa Designs, and Think Impact. He has more than four years of experience in the country’s enterprise community, and through volunteer and internship programs, he has also worked with Oxfam GB, Microfinance Transparency, and Indego Africa Project.

Deo Gakuba
 Accounting Manager

Ashley oversees company-wide and project-based monitoring and evaluation work. She brings over five years experience building the internal evaluation capacity of non-governmental organizations, higher education institutions, and UN system organizations and specific expertise in gender-sensitive and participatory research methodologies. Ashley has provided evaluation quality review services for UNFPA and conducted evaluations for global programs focused on social protection, workforce development and education, including for Inkomoko’s partner Akilah Institute. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University and a Master of Social Work from University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.

 Evaluation Manager

Nina is Rwandan by birth and was raised in Chicago, with Rwanda always as her home. She holds a Bachelor's in Public Relations and a Masters in Nonprofit Management. She has worked mainly in nonprofit sector, focusing on fundraising for underprivileged youth with an organization she founded called Heart Of a Thousand Hills. She is happy to be back in Rwanda and helping entrepreneurs tell their story as the communication manager at Inkomoko.

Nina Iliza
 Communications Manager

Rachel Ingabire is a Finance and Administrative Assistant at Inkomoko Business Development Company. Rachel is a hardworking and passionate individual who gives her all to a task until it is accomplished. She has 1.5 years of experience working as an operations assistant at Belay Global Rwanda. Additional to that, Rachel has also worked as a soap making trainer for the DuHope project. Rachel holds a Bachelor degree of Arts in Management with concentration in Public Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. She is very responsible with capabilities to handle different tasks at time.

Rachel Ingabire
 Finance & Admin Assistant

Gisele has over 2 years of experience working as a chief accountant/ Administration at Imana Steel, Bugesera. She also worked as loan & risk officer at Vision fund Rwanda. Gisele holds a master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in project management from the University of STES Rwanda. Prior to that she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Bharathidasan university in India where she obtained an Upper Second Class. She is highly motivated, responsible and dedicated to finance and Business Development professional with sound knowledge and experience in accounts, sales & Marketing, research, data collection & data entry.

Gisele Ingenere
 Business Analyst

Lydia is the Director of Special Projects at Inkomoko. Prior to this position, Lydia worked as Senior Institutional and Business Advisory consultant for World Jewish Relief where her role was to empower youth farmers in agribusiness and build capacity of local NGOs through training, market linkages, and strategic consultations. Lydia has 13 years of experience working with International NGOs as Senior Business Advisor at TechnoServe and Capacity Building Team Leader at CHF International where her role was to develop institutional capacity of 20 local NGOs through training, mentoring and coaching. In addition to working with INGOs, Lydia worked with KPMG as Human Resource Consultant where her main role was to develop strategies and conduct executive selection and recruitment for clients. Lydia is a founder of AK’Iwacu, a social enterprise whose mission is to restore refugees ’dignity through economic empowerment and a co-founder of Books & Brains, a children library. Lydia holds a Master’s Degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid from Kalu Institute and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Computer Sciences from Uganda Martyrs University.

“David is a professional and certified trainer in entrepreneurship and enterprise development. He organizes and implements the training programs at African Entrepreneur Collective group of companies, which primarily deals with entrepreneur development. He is a licensed trainer from BiDNetwork in Ready4Finance─a modular training that prepares emerging market entrepreneurs in access to finance. With Inkomoko Business Development, he has experience of training using modern training methodologies among countries like Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. Prior to joining Inkomoko, he was the Program Manager of African Innovation Prize. He is also a YALI (Young African Leaders Initiative) Fellow where he majored in Business and Entrepreneurship”

Jack Kirby is Inkomoko's Client Services Director, and he is dedicated to helping business grow by improving operations and organizing sales. He holds a Psychology degree from Bates College and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Acton School of Business. He has worked as National Operations Director for DTI and as Program Manager for One Acre Fund.

Christian is a business development professional with over 5 years’ professional experience in different industries including Gold Mining, ICT, Logistics network, Business Consulting. he is passionate about supporting SMEs growth and expansion, he is an MBA graduate from Stamford International University in Thailand and also holds a degree in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University in India.

Sara Leedom is a founding Board Member of African Entreprenuer Collective, and serves as the Managing Director of the Inkomoko accelerator in Rwanda. Most recently, Sara was a Shell Foundation consultant to IntelleGrow, a social impact debt fund in Mumbai, focused on loans to SMEs in India. Sara has 15 years experience growing and managing social impact organizations, and through Leedom Consulting, a boutique firm based in San Francisco, she provided operations and fundraising strategy to growing nonprofits and social enterprises. Sara is the former Interim Executive Director and Director of Strategy for the Level Playing Field Institute in California, and also developed affordable housing throughout the US. An MBA from Oxford’s Said Business School, Sara was the 2013 co-chair of the Oxford Business Network for Africa, where she hosted and honored HE President Paul Kagame at the annual Oxford conference.

Sara Leedom

Grace is a business development professional who has over five years of professional experience supporting startup and young organisations, focused on entrepreneurship development and creation of employment. Grace holds a degree in Economics, with a major in Development Studies, obtained at the National University of Rwanda. She is the 2015 elect National Vice President of the Junior Chamber International in Rwanda, and a mentor at kLab for tech start-ups. Before Inkomoko, Grace managed the operations of Regent University’s Business Development Centre in Rwanda, and spearheaded Communications and Development at Digital Opportunity Trust Rwanda.

Lucia is Inkomoko's Training Manager, and she believes that entrepreneurs need strong guidance and knowledge to be able to drive their businesses to soaring heights. Her experience in Training includes designing, implementing and training potential candidates in entrepreneurship and Business Plan Development. Prior to joining Inkomoko, Lucia has served as a Trainer/ Facilitator at Business Development Center (BDC Rwanda), and she earned her Masters Degree in Management (Innovation & Entrepreneurship) from Stirling University - Scotland.

 Training Manager

Tuzinde graduated from the former National University of Rwanda in Agricultural economics and Agribusiness in 2012. He has served through DOT Rwanda as community facilitator and coach to over 200 hundred young people and women about entrepreneurship, basic ICT, He served as Agribusiness Advisor and Sales with Faim Africa Ltd, an International Agribusiness Company based in Rwanda, He also started a hardware business in Kigali as sales consultant, and he is passionate about business growth and entrepreneur development.

Tuzinde Henry Mundende
 Business Analyst

Grace holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Uganda Christian University and a Master’s degree in Management and Entrepreneurship at Sussex University. Grace is fluent in English and Kinyarwanda. She has a strong background in both Communication and Entrepreneurship. She has experience from working with Rwanda Development Board in the Public Relations and Communication department and experience working with The Rwanda Private Sector Federation as an Entrepreneurship Specialist.

Cynthia is dedicated and committed to empower vulnerable, youth and women, especially refugees with entrepreneurship skills, she holds bachelor’s degree in Law from the Martin Luther King University. Prior to joining Inkomoko, she worked as Legal Assistance in Centre Seruka for one year and volunteering in different NGO’s. She joined Inkomoko as a Training Support Associate and later promoted to Training Associate.

Fabrice Ndayisaba, Business Development Associate(BDA), holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting Science, he has worked with local and international companies and NGOs Organizations as an accountant, Financial Controller, Financial Manager, Financial Advisor, Managing Director and he is a Rwanda Revenue Authority Certified Tax Advisor.

Fabrice Ndayisaba
 Business Development Associate

Fidele is dedicated and committed to empowering young leaders with entrepreneurship skills. He holds a degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from the National University of Rwanda. Prior to joining Inkomoko, Fidele worked as a Learning and Development officer at AB Bank Rwanda and as an entrepreneurship trainer at Kabuatre Technical Secondary School.

Fidele Ntagawa Ngando
 Business Development Associate

Felix holds bachelor’s degree in Economics from National University of Rwanda. Before joining Inkomoko, Felix worked for Frontiers Adventures Great Lakes, on project under EDC Akazi kanoze training, and he trained more than 200 fresh graduates from universities around the country in Work Readiness Program. He also worked for DOT Rwanda as a Business Coach whereby he trained on business start ups, business coaching and business planning. Felix is highly experienced in conducting business trainings and advisory/consulting services. In 2014 and 2015 Felix was on training and judging team for business competition under Youth Connekt event organized by Ministry of Youth&ICT. With high commitment, Felix is a motivated Business development advisor, ready to work on the best of the community development.

 Business Development Manager

Nathalie is the managing director at Inkomoko. She has over 5 years experience in Administration and Finance working mainly with Not for Profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Majoring in Accounting from the Former School of Finance and Banking and she is currently pursuing a Professional Accounting certification CPA from KASNEB (Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board). Prior to joining Inkomoko, Nathalie was Managing the accounting transactions and Monitoring Budgets of Help a Child Rwanda, FEWS NET (USAID Project) and Vision for a Nation Foundation.

Jean Claude Nkusi oversees all Web and Graphic Design, Marketing, and Networking. Prior to joining AEC's Inkomoko accelerator, Jean Claude worked as an IT Technician/Webmaster at Contact FM Radio Station in Kigali. He holds various Certificates and Diplomas in CISCO Networking, Computer Repair and Maintenance, Electronics, Web Design, Graphic Design, Database Design and Programming. With over 4 years of work experience, Jean Claude is an experienced designer.

 Creative Director

Eric has 10 years of experience training, coaching, and advising SMEs and cooperatives in business development, entrepreneurship, finance, taxation, bookkeeping, and human resources. He is fully committed to helping entrepreneurs strengthen and grow their businesses. Eric holds a Masters in Business Administration from Kabale University and a Bachelors in Business Administration from the National University of Rwanda.

Arnaud holds a bachelor degree in Business Information and Technology from the National University of Rwanda. His background is in Micro-banking, Marketing, and Business Development services. For the past 3 years, Arnaud was a Business Advisor at PSF (Private Sector Federation).

African Entrepreneur Collective is led by social entrepreneur Julienne Oyler, who brings more than 10 years of experience working in education and international development. With a BA in African History from Georgetown University and an MBA from Yale School of Management, Julienne is a visionary strategist, passionate about developing human capital, and rooted in data-driven decision-making. Having lived in Africa several times and travelled extensively throughout the continent, Julienne understands the tremendous need for and opportunity to bolster small-medium enterprise development with a focus on local relevancy. Prior to founding AEC, Julienne served as the Director of Development and Communications at College Track, a national after-school program in the US. In addition, she has held leadership and strategic consulting positions at a number of organizations including African Leadership Academy, Capital Partners for Education, and at the Yale School of Management.

Osman Senyonjo joined Inkomoko in August 2014. He has been an assistant auditor for two years, and was an accounting major at the University of Rwanda College of Business and Economics, were he also led programs related to the study of taxation. Osman is quite passionate and eager about growth and sustainability of businesses Rwanda, and as he says, he “enjoys living around entrepreneur-driven youth with dreams!”

Christine is Inkomoko's HR Manager, and she strongly believes that people are the source of all great things, which is one of Inkomoko's core values. Prior to joining Inkomoko, Christine has served as the HR Associate for Prime Insurance Ltd, and she earned her BBA from University of Rwanda – College of Business and Economics, majoring in Public Procurement.

Bernadette holds a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from the University of Rwanda and is a defending candidate from the United States International University - Africa (USIU), Mastering in International Relations. Bernadette is highly passionate in providing assistance to growing businesses and helping them maintain growth. She has previously worked with Prime Insurance Ltd – with the claims department and several Events Management Organizations.
