Rohin Otieno

Regional Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning

Rohin Otieno  is the Regional Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, based in the Nairobi office. He brings over 10 years of experience in M&E framework development, systems design and implementation, rigorous research and evaluation methods, design and implementation of development research, tools and methodologies, data collection, analysis and reporting of quantitative and qualitative development research results.

Prior to joining Inkomoko, Rohin was the Senior Impact Manager at the African Management Institute (AMI). Rohin has also provided Research & Evaluation support to different organizations with operations in Eastern and Southern Africa, including the WorldBank, USAID, GIZ, JICA, NORAD, GIZ, AGRA and Philanthropies, including Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, MasterCard Foundation and Argidius Foundation. 

Rohin earned a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi, followed by a Master of Development Studies (with Distinction) from St. Paul’s University. Currently, he is in the final stages of completing his PhD research in Development Studies, also at St. Paul’s University. As a dedicated professional, he is a member of African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) and the UK Evaluation Society. Rohin’s contributions to the M&E field are notable, with several impactful peer-reviewed publications enriching the body of knowledge in development studies.
