Dawit Tilahun joins Inkomoko as the Managing Director for Ethiopia, based in Addis Ababa. He brings extensive knowledge and a proven track record in developing and implementing impactful programs for social entrepreneurs. With over two decades of experience in various leadership roles, Dawit has demonstrated his expertise in strategic planning, partnership development, and financial management.

Before joining Inkomoko, Dawit served as the Acting Country Manager and Head of Programs for Reach for Change in Ethiopia, where he developed and implemented country strategies to maximize social impact for children and youth. He has also been a Managing Partner at Lucy Investment Partners, focusing on capital raising and investment readiness for ventures in Ethiopia. His tenure as a Senior Associate at Schulze Global Investments involved market scoping, financial analysis, and due diligence for private equity investments.

Dawit’s background in finance and investment, combined with his experience in managing social impact programs, positions him uniquely to lead Inkomoko’s initiatives in Ethiopia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance and an Executive MBA from Addis Ababa University. Fluent in Amharic and English, with a good command of Oromiffa, Dawit is well-equipped to bridge Inkomoko’s humanitarian and private sector approaches to supporting entrepreneurs.
